Brilliant, bold sound, awesome response, and great intonation have made the 8D a staple of American orchestras. While any 8D is a good instrument, the Elkhart instruments are legendary. This one was made at the legendary Elkhart factory (serial number Kxx,xxx - see pic).

This horn is in terrific playing condition and good cosmetic condition. Original lacquer is 90% or so. There are minor dents and scars (see pics), but this horn has never been badly damaged.
