Cm 01 02 Original Database
Since i couldnt instal the FM 2011 Demo on my pc due to lack of a decent graphics card i thought id just carry on playing the classic CM 01/02, Still had a saved game from ages ago so just been playing that recently, Team i chose is Milwall ive only just won my first premiership (in 7 seasons!) But ive won 5 league cups, 2 Super Cups, 4 Charity Shields, 1 World Championship,2 Champions League and 3 FA Cups! Here's my current squad in year 2009! History And my star player Ronaldinho, 56 goals in the season just gone Anyone else still play it? Maybe this thread will remind people of how good this game was and still is!
I do mate, love it. Can't get into any of the new ones, 03/2004 was the last one I liked but 01/02 is brilliant. I've got a game that i've been playing on and off for over a year now. I started as Benfica manager but then left for a new challenge and am currently manager of Sunderland. I also recently accepted the job as Portugal manager, as I've never won the world cup on any CM game (i usually don't have the patience to be an international manager).
Anyway, all my Sunderland players are regens now so wont post any screenshots of my squad but here's my manager stats: Haven't been on this since September but this thread is tempting me to get back into it! I do mate, love it.
Championship Manager 01/02 also contained the fictional players. The game was released as freeware in December 2008. In April 2002, Sports Interactive took the decision to move away from the PC platform for the first time since Championship Manager 2, producing a version of Championship Manager 01/02 for the Xbox.

So going from OK with Boston, to storming to the Prem. Then winning it, and defending it.
Here are the final positions of the Prem in 10/11 season. Liverpool (me) 2. Birmingham 7. Man Utd (they won 10 in a row from 99 onwards. Blackburn 11. Newcastle 12. Boston (I won the league with them the previous two seasons before leaving because the administrators were in and I had no funds to imporve the squad).

Sunderland 18. Stoke (r) 19. Port Vale (r) 20.
Crewe (r) Gerrard currently playing for West Brom in the Championship. Current season is 10/11 I sold him start of this season for £17m, the finished 9th in the championship.
Most expensive player in the game is Robben (£20.5m). Arzu is 5th £15.5m, I signed him for Boston fotr £3m from Perugia. Well now, I am currently watching the 2014 World Cup so thought I would share some of my details.
I am current Liverpool manager, just finished 2013/14 season. Final standings are: 1. Liverpool (me) 2.
Birmingham 6. Newcastle 15. Portsmouth 17. WBA Everton have just finished 20th in the Championship. World record transfer fee is Zambrotta (£46m) Juve to Barca. 3 of my players are in the top 4 most expensive in the world. Liverpool currently sit on 22 league titles, pipping the Mancs record of 21.
We have 8 European Cups (same as Madrid). Gerrard is 34 and playing for West Ham.
I sold him to WBA (?!?) for £17m in 2010. They sold him in 2012 to Leeds for £6.5m and then he moved to WHU for £2.4m in 2013. Carra is still playing too, he is 36 and playing for Southend, having spent 12 years at Chelsea. Lol i remember i was playing one of them. Not sure which version because i think Tsigalko was awesome in a couple of them. Could have been 01/02 but in whichever one it was Belarus managed to make it to the world cup.
