Bescor Mp 101 Manual
Rated 1 out of 5 by Forensic Videographer from Awful This remote control is designed to fail after a month or so of use. I cannot tell you how many I have had to replace, regardless of the care I have taken to package and transport it between uses. Typically it will fail by panning in one horizontal direction and not another, or simply fail to pan up and down altogether, or simply totally fail. It doesn't matter how carefully I handle it or how carefully I plug it into the motorized pan head. It's designed to fail. The joystick-like panner control button is clearly designed to fail. This is a product that is begging to be redesigned.
Even at $$it is a total ripoff. Rated 4 out of 5 by Videographer Steve from Wired remote for Bescor MP-101 Pan/Tilt For an inexpensive pan/tilt product, this is a great unit. We have three of them at our church.
The unit this one replaced worked well for about six years before it malfunctioned. The pan/tilt head this remote operates is still working great, as are the other two complete setups. We use the cameras mounted on these pan/tilt heads at every service, including special events, which equates to approximately 180 to 190 times annually. The MP-101 is an excellent buy. The remote was inexpensive to replace. You wouldn't use the MP-101 in a professional setting; it's a bit unrefined with it's jerky too fast motion even on the slowest speed, but for our purposes, it works fine. You can't beat the price.
Bescor MP-1B Motorized Pan Head Kit, Includes MP-101 Motorized Pan Head with Remote Control, 90-645 Battery and ATM-X Automatic Charger. D 76275 usb driver free. Aug 31, 2006 - I am curious about the Bescor. I would recommend getting or modifying the jib to do manual tilt control (I think the cobra does) and using the bescor for pan. Although the Bescor MP 101 comes with a (wired) remote control.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Joel from Remote Control not up to the level of the MP-101 The Bescor MP-101 is a stellar pan and tilt head. It handles our 5 lb. Sony Camcorder well.
The remote is another thing. It doesnt operate sal that smoothly and the speed control is the flimsiest slider Ive ever seen. Ours broke after about a dozen uses and was stuck on the fastest speed. After only owning it for a couple of months and using it only one a week, I called Bescore, they told me I should probably just buy an extra one at almost half the price of the head.
